Kitchen printers can stop printing for a number of reasons. The most common are listed below:
Loose Connections - Are all cables pushed in fully to the printer itself, the till and to any network ports in the walls?
Out of paper/jammed - Please check if there is a light on the paper indicator showing the printer is out of paper, or if there is a grinding sound when attempting to print would indicate a jam of some sort.
Network Connection - Is the network currently online? (are you able to connect to wifi etc?), has the router been turned off? Has the printer changed location/IP and needs reconfigured by EPOS NI?
If the printer is a standalone unit that is being sent orders over the network and assistance from one of our Support Engineers is needed, Please turn off the printer then hold the feed button and turn it back on while still holding it. A print out should come out and if that could be sent in with any other relevant information with the support ticket!
Tills offline - If there are multiple tills onsite, please confirm that all tills are online and running the EPOS NI ICRTouch software.
