If Print Data is set under Net/Comm parameters then the till selected will handle all of the printing information.
Print Data allows a till to send all of its print jobs to the till set in the parameter. e.g Print Data = 3, the till will send its jobs to ECR 3. Print Data uses the programming settings of the till selected, not the till the job was created in. Therefore if Print Data is set to 3 on till 1, changing the printer programming on till 1 will not effect printing on till 1 or till 3. This includes drivers, output formats and the rest.
If you need multiple copies of the same receipt, common instance is Kitchen Dockets. The drivers have to be different for the printing to work correctly. This is why there are most likely 2/3 Kitchen Printers.
The departments required should be set to send the first job to e.g Printer 3, the second to Printer 4. Printer 4 would be a copy of Printer 3, so it points to the same hardware with the only change being the Printer Driver. The Printer Driver used is likely a copy of the original driver as the data doesn't have to be different, it just needs to be a different reference.
