ICR Touch - Cloning terminals for use in a Network

Cloning the programming of an ICRTouch is easy to do so when you are programming, you only need to program one till and copy the data over to the other terminals. The process is simple. Once you are finished programming one till, copy the full ICRTouch file in the C: drive onto a memory stick. Locate the ICRTouch file on the destination till (probably on the C: drive again). Rename the folder already installed on the destination till to ICRTouch.backup and paste the copied folder on your memory stick into same location on the C: drive so it effectively takes over from where the previous ICRTouch folder was.

In the ICRTouch.backup folder there will be a file called network.buf. This is the licence file used to verify the installation is genuine. Copy this file and paste it into the ICRTouch folder you copied from the other till. Replace the previous network.buf file and this should transfer the licence across. Once this is done you can delete the ICRTouch.backup folder and the till will now use the cloned install for its data.
